InfraKraft provides an end-to-end solution for handicraft industries by creating infrastructure, technology upgradation, trainings and market access to thousands of artisans across India. We act as a one-stop solution provider for process development and skill upgradation in existing artisan clusters and creating new clusters in the rural areas.
Our focus is on establishing a handicrafts manufacturing culture that adopts rapid product development techniques which promotes development of new products from design-to-product in the shortest timescale possible. This is achieved mainly by providing solutions in infrastructure, technology, supply chain and packaging. Our objective is to transform our rural artisans to ‘digital micro-entrepreneurs’ with an adequate monthly income. We want to impact rural lives across India by creating employment progressively.
Awards & Recognition
Infrakraft has setup India’s first Handicrafts Incubation Centre (Design Studio) in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The project won 2nd place in the India Smart City Awards Contest (ISAC 2020). The impact of the Design Studio has been seen in 3 out of the 9 key urban themes identified in the Smart City Award goals, viz. Economy (capacity building & employment), Culture (Identity & Heritage preservation), and Social aspects (Education).
